A Day in My Life

I'm writing a blog just for you, my grandchildren, so I can share my life with you.  I hope you'll write back and share your life with me too.

Friday, the Endeavor landed at the San Francisco airport.  The space shuttle piggy-backed on the airplane flying over the Golden Gate Bridge. Pretty amazing sight. I didn't get a picture of it but a new friend I met in my walking group did. Her name is Vickie and she sent the picture to me today so I could share it with you. Too bad she didn't get the bridge too.

I went to the Marina Park on Sunday before going to the grocery store. The Italian Sailing team was practicing for the America's Cup Race.

Some stopped riding their bikes and scooters to exercise awhile.

Other people rode their bikes to this tiny stretch of beach out in the bay.  I'm not sure how they got there.

Watching sailboats out on the bay is relaxing. I imagine it would be pretty much fun to be ride in one. Maybe someday when you come to visit me. That's Alcatraz in the background.

I walked across the street from the park to Safeway, bought some groceries, and headed up the hill to my home.

If you were here, you could help me carry something so I wouldn't have to look like a bag lady.

Jake is the dog in the corner watching while his owner took my picture.

I love you!
